Christine and Jerome’s wedding took place on an incredibly humid summers day in downtown Toronto. All the day’s locations – from their condo to Osgoode Hall to Peter Pan Bistro – were only a few minutes apart so you can’t get more local than that!
They chose to keep things small and simple. No wedding party and only about 60 guests. We set up their first look and portrait session at Osgoode Hall – one of my favourite (and free) downtown spots for wedding photos.
The ceremony and reception were held just down the street on the upstairs level of the well-known Queen Street restaurant, Peter Pan Bistro. It was a perfect venue for an intimate wedding such as theirs.
As the evening progressed, peppered with touching speeches, many laughs and delicious food, were also treated to the most stunning sunset I’d seen in a while. So of course, we took full advantage and slipped out for a quick sunset portrait!
