Heather and Sacha decided to hold two separate weddings in order to celebrate with all their family members from various locations and to celebrate their different religious backgrounds. The first wedding took place in Kingston, where Heather’s family live. It was a traditional Christian ceremony at Sydenham Street United Church with their reception at the Fort Fronenac Officers Mess. We took some portraits of the couple along the way at the Frontenac County Court House.
The second wedding took place a week later at Bombay Palace in Brampton and was a traditional Hindu ceremony. We took a few portraits of the couple beforehand in their amazing lengha and sherwani and then headed over for the morning-time event.
I love the way Heather and Sacha included aspects of each of their cultural backgrounds in both ceremonies making the celebrations unique and completely them.
