It’s pretty cool how being in this industry can re-connect people.

I’ve known Eric since my early teens when we used to swim together at Pointe Claire Swim Club. We hadn’t actually seen or heard much from each other in at least 20 years (which makes me feel really old) so I was quite surprised when he called me out of the blue to set up the shoot.

I hadn’t met Karin before but it turns out we grew up blocks from each other and probably passed each other on the street as kids. It’s a small world indeed.

I’m looking forward to meeting their little girl in early August when we take her newborn portraits.
