Katie and Patrick’s wedding took place on a balmy day in October. It felt like it was still the middle of summer even though the fall leaves were turning red.

Katie and Patrick are the perfect compliments to each other. Katie is fiery and flamboyant with a lot of sass while Patrick is more of the strong silent type. Their height difference is part of what makes them awesome too, there was a funny moment during the reception involving some gag t-shirts that joked about it.

The wedding took place at FountainBlu on the grounds of Exhibition Place. We used the surrounding area for their photo shoot. There are many unique spots within walking distance including a bandshell and a historic house – where I actually did my own wedding photos!

The reception was one heck of a party! There were some special dance performances from the dance school where Katie is an instructor, some hilarious and touching speeches, a singing kissing game and of course the most rocking dance floor ever!
