Lara & Lowell – Enoch Turner Schoolhouse Wedding, Toronto

The Enoch Turner Schoolhouse is a heritage site located in the heart of downtown Toronto. The exterior of the schoolhouse features Victorian architecture, with its red-brick walls and large windows. It offers a blend of historic charm, natural beauty, modern elegance, plus a little bit of urban grittiness of King St East.

The ceremony honoured Lara’s Jewish background and took place under a beautifully rustic crafted chuppa made from birch trees and green foliage.

After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed cocktails and snacks while I took the couple out for their photo shoot in the surrounding area. Upon return, the main room has been transformed into an elegant dining room with colourful, seasonal flowers provided by Flowerday florist.

A tasty buffet dinner catered by En Ville was served followed by speeches and a hilarious musical number by the parents of the bride and groom.

Music was a big theme of the night with Lowell being a talented drummer, guests would expect no less than an amazing, rocking band to play well into the wee hours. And they weren’t disappointed! Lowell and his father even graced the stage a few times during the evening.
