Nadine and Greg for married on a beautiful summer day in Toronto.
With their reception at the historic Eglinton Grand, they chose a classic Hollywood movie theme for the wedding. I love the movie stub invitations and vintage elegance of the decor.
The ceremony took place at St Gregory Armenian Catholic Church and from there we headed to Alexander Muir Memorial Gardens for the portraits. I love this location for downtown weddings as it has a wonderful peacefulness to it and is always well taken care of a fragrant – the lavender plants are incredible! The light was perfect for golden, romantic portraits and the historic stone walls really suited their theme.
From there we headed to the Eglinton Grand where one of the perks is the customizable marquee sign which allows the couple to get their name in lights for the night.
The venue has maintained much of the original 1930’s glamour and even allows for a grand curtain reveal for the first dance!
The rest of the evening was filled with hilarious speeches, Armenian dancing, spontaneous ululations and lots of cheering! We ended the night with the classic nighttime portrait outside under the marquee. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful day.
