The Gladstone Hotel is such a perfect downtown Toronto venue for an intimate and colourful wedding. The rooms are sleekly designed featuring exposed brick, high ceilings, and giant picture windows overlooking trendy Queen St West. There are multiple floors with vibrant features including a blue pool table, local artwork, kitschy furniture, and of course, the iconic antique elevator.
Paula and Steven embody the colourful and unique aspects of the venue perfectly. From Steven’s bright blue suit, bold shirt, and yellow bowtie to Paula’s vibrant personality and radiant smile, it suited them to a tee.
The wedding itself had a tight guestlist of only immediate family and close friends. After the ceremony and a few champagne toasts, I took the bride and groom to some of my favourite spots in and around the building. I love the variety of backgrounds all within a short walk from each other.
