Rachel and Daniel’s wedding was a perfect blend of traditional Jewish ceremony and modern, urban celebration. We started the day at the Shaarei Shomayim Synagogue in North York for their first look, traditional ceremony, and lunch, and then headed to Liberty Village for their portrait session. Liberty Village has always been one of my favourite locations for portraits having done my own wedding photos there 15 years ago! There are so many unique backgrounds that highlight the area’s rich, industrial history and more recent modern trendiness. Their reception was held at Mildred’s Temple Kitchen, a staple restaurant of Liberty Village famous for its decadent brunches. The couple and their guests enjoyed a delicious vegetarian meal, danced the horah, broke the challah, and partied the night away!
