The morning of Shannon and Laura’s wedding had everyone obsessing about the weather updates. There were looming storm clouds all around and the time was ticking before they had to make the call about an indoor or outdoor ceremony. When\u00a0we arrived at Black Creek Pioneer Village the sky was blue and the sun was out, so outdoor ceremony it was!\u00a0But with all the live satellite\u00a0footage and crossed fingers, we still couldn’t avoid the rain. Yes, it poured rain right at the beginning of the ceremony, past the point of no return, and not just a drizzle, torrential downpour!<\/p>\n

With a slight\u00a0pause in the ceremony to move everything inside, the wedding continued in the cozy and intimate Town Hall building.\u00a0Luckily, Shannon and Laura both have a great sense of humour\u00a0and could see the funny in it all. By the time the ceremony was over, the sun was out again and it turned into a beautiful afternoon.<\/p>\n

By evening, the dance floor was rocking, the fire pit was lit, the lawn games were played and the party was just being!<\/p>\n
