Getting married is a celebration of family, and a rustic and stylish wedding at Becky\u2019s Aunt and Uncle\u2019s
\nfarm in Penetanguishene, Ontario was the perfect place for Becky and Ian to unite their two families.
\nThis New Jersey couple has several relatives in the GTA, so a Simcoe County wedding allowed them to
\nbring everyone together for a laidback country celebration.<\/p>\n

Bridesmaids selected their own dresses to best reflect their personal style, matching the champagne and
\nblush colour themes of the day. The groomsmen brought a country chic, resort feel to the festivities
\nwith their crisp linen suits and carefully coordinated white runners. The bride looked stunning in a
\nclassic and elegant white gown.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was out of a fairy tale, offering a tranquil, sunlit backdrop for the couple\u2019s traditional
\nJewish ceremony featuring a ketubah (marriage contract signed by two witnesses), a chuppah (wedding
\ncanopy) set over birch branches, and the breaking of a glass. The ceremony was funny, light, and
\nemotional, expertly officiated by a close friend of the couple who also happens to be an actor with
\nfantastic comedic timing.<\/p>\n

The farm offered a variety of\u00a0picturesque\u00a0locations for our portrait session including the field, forest, cabin,
\nand vintage camper. The couple integrated nature throughout their wedding using greenery, tree
\nboughs and branches, and delicate white blossoms to adorn the space.<\/p>\n

The sunset cocktail reception overlooking the lake was the perfect place to toast the newlyweds. Becky
\nand Ian made their grand entrance as husband and wife atop a John Deere ATV. The dinner reception
\nwas a casual barbeque, where guests could truly kick back and relax. Instead of table numbers, Becky
\nand Ian leaned into their farm backdrop using small harvest-inspired pictures of fruit to demark the
\ndifferent tables. Speeches from family and friends were both entertaining and emotional.<\/p>\n

Rain moved in later in the evening, bringing all the guests into the tent for a fantastic party. A lively crowd
\npacked the dancefloor for the Hora and the remainder of the festivities.<\/p>\n

This is the second wedding I have been fortunate enough to photograph at this charming
\nPenetanguishene farm. Becky and Ian had a sustainable approach to their wedding planning, reusing
\nmuch of the d\u00e9cor and signage from her cousin\u2019s 2016 wedding at the same family farm. Click here to
