I first met Elizabeth and Isaiah in person for their engagement shoot in High Park a few months before the wedding. I absolutely loved the sense of humour, fun, romance and silliness they brought to the shoot and knew their wedding would be a blast, which it was! (see Engagement<\/a> shoot)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They got married on a perfect fall day, despite a bit of rain which luckily came down during the indoor ceremony and was over by the time we headed outside. The ceremony took place at The Mount Community Centre<\/a> in Peterborough, a beautiful, iconic building boasting ornate archways and a high cathedral ceiling. Isaiah’s father was the officiant which made it all the more special. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In knowing Isaiah is a bit of a joker, the best man (Isaiah’s brother) handed over 2 ring pops in place of the wedding rings. There was a slight moment of confusion before everyone realized the joke! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We made sure to make use of the beautiful building for photos after the ceremony before heading over the their reception site, Mill Stream Bible Camp<\/a> in Omemee. Elizabeth attended this camp in her childhood so it was a very special place for her to celebrate her wedding. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fall colours were glorious and the sun was now shining so we captured some wonderful seasonal portraits of the couple and their wedding party on the grounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once again, the wedding party brought the humour to the reception with the groomsman entering the room dressed as clowns, the bridesmaids performing a dance routine to YMCA and then firing off confetti poppers much to the surprise of the bride and groom as they entered the room! It was quite an entrance!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For dinner, everyone was treated to their own fire-cooked personal pizza that was freshly made on-site. Delish!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I had expected, their wedding was fun, sweet, romantic and a little bit silly, in the best possible way.<\/p>\n\n\n
