Their choice of venue, the Royal Canadian Yacht Club (RCYC), was equally unforgettable. Nestled on Toronto Island, RCYC offers one of the most unique wedding experiences in the city, combining waterfront charm with classic elegance.

I’m always thrilled to photograph weddings on Toronto Island. The peaceful atmosphere, fresh lake air, and natural surroundings feel like a true escape—while still offering stunning, unobstructed views of the Toronto skyline in the background. It’s the perfect blend of serene and urban, and it creates a one-of-a-kind setting for wedding photography.
Throughout the day, we took full advantage of the island’s scenic pathways, waterfront views, and quiet corners, all of which provided a beautiful backdrop for relaxed, timeless portraits.
A Spectacular Sunset Over the Toronto Skyline
As if the day couldn’t get any better, we were treated to the most spectacular sunset to close out the evening. Golden light spilled across the water as the city skyline glowed in the distance, creating the kind of atmosphere photographers dream about. It was the perfect way to end an already incredible celebration and made for some truly unforgettable images.
With an amazing couple, an iconic RCYC wedding venue, breathtaking skyline views, and a sunset that delivered in every way, this wedding was one for the books. You really can’t ask for much more.
