Baby Sandro’s Catholic baptism in Toronto was a beautiful and joyful family celebration in the heart of Corso Italia. The day began at home, where Sandro’s godparents helped get him dressed and presented him with two special gifts – a bracelet and a crucifix necklace.
Sandro was absolutely adorable and incredibly personable, happily soaking up all the attention before heading off to church.
Baptism at St. Nicholas of Bari
The family then made their way to St. Nicholas of Bari Church in Toronto for Sandro’s baptism. He was a total star throughout the ceremony and had no problem at all when the priest poured the baptismal water over his head!
It was a lovely, meaningful ceremony surrounded by his parents, godparents and extended family.
After the baptism, everyone gathered together to celebrate. There was lots of laughter, conversation and time spent with family — exactly what makes these milestone celebrations so special.
As a Toronto baptism photographer, I love capturing both the important traditional photographs and the candid moments that show the personality and connection between family members. Sandro’s baptism was a wonderful day filled with faith, family and celebration, and I was so happy to document it for his family.
