Marina and Petar’s wedding was an amazing whirlwind of an experience. I flew into Montego Bay on the Tuesday, shot the wedding on the Wednesday and flew back to Toronto on the Thursday…it almost seemed like a dream!

The venue, Gran Bahia Principe, was a gorgeous 5-star resort with a huge beach, huge pool and picturesque wedding gazebo right on the water. The weather held up for almost the entire day except for the torrential downpour in the evening that unfortunately forced the reception inside to one of the dining halls. You can see the storm creeping in as we took photos on the beach in the early evening, luckily we had just wrapped our photo shoot when the drops started falling.

The reception itself was quite something. I had never experienced a Serbian wedding celebration and boy was it a fun time! Even with only 30 guests present they managed to dance and sing up a storm, at top volume!
