A global pandemic wasn’t about to stop Sharon and Jeremy from tying the knot on their original wedding date this past summer.
They did, however, have to change the location which was initially to take place at The Glenerin Inn but later moved to a stunning backyard in North York belonging to the groom’s uncle.
There was a heatwave that day but the shady property provided a perfect canopy to keep the couple and their small group of closest family and friends cool enough to enjoy the festivities.
With the whole day being simplified due to various restrictions, it really brought out what was most important to the couple – to celebrate their love surrounded by an intimate group of loved ones (plus those who watched the live zoom stream) and enjoy their special day.
After a short but sweet ceremony, the couple mingled with their guests (from an appropriate distance) while enjoying a light brunch, provided by Encore Catering, and some sparkling beverages.
There were some heartfelt speeches by the bride, groom and the hosts of the event and then…cake!
It was the most perfect little wedding, no bells and whistles, just love, joy and family.
