Tall Ship Kajama Wedding in Toronto Harbour
Chloé and Alain’s wedding aboard the Tall Ship Kajama was a truly unique Toronto wedding experience—and a first for me as a photographer. With the Toronto skyline as their backdrop, the shimmering waters of Lake Ontario, and the grandeur of a fully restored 1930s tall ship, their wedding day was both cinematic and unforgettable. Cruising through Toronto Harbour, the Kajama offered a one-of-a-kind setting that blended history, romance, and iconic city views.
An Emotional Waterfront Ceremony with Skyline Views
The ceremony took place on the open deck of the ship, surrounded by panoramic views of downtown Toronto and Toronto Island. It was deeply sentimental and emotional, filled with laughter, happy tears, and quiet moments between the couple. After the ceremony, Chloé and Alain went below deck with their witnesses to sign the marriage registry while guests mingled and took in the harbour views above.
Champagne, Cannon Fire, and a True Tall Ship Experience
Once back on deck, the celebration kicked off in unforgettable fashion with a champagne toast and a real cannon salute—a signature Tall Ship Kajama moment. Guests enjoyed cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and dancing on deck while cruising through the Toronto Island Lagoons. The ship’s crew even invited a few lucky guests to help raise the sails, creating an authentic and interactive tall ship wedding experience.
Little Italy Wedding Photos in Toronto
After returning to land, Chloé, Alain, and I headed to Toronto’s Little Italy for wedding portraits. This neighbourhood—and their reception venue—holds deep meaning for them. They had their first date at the Monarch Tavern, are regulars at Bitondo’s Pizzeria across the street, and even shared their first kiss on a nearby street corner. Incorporating these personal landmarks into their wedding photos added an extra layer of storytelling and made their images even more meaningful.
