Christine and Jerome’s wedding took place on an incredibly humid summer day in Toronto, with every location conveniently situated within a few minutes of each other. From getting ready at their downtown condo to portraits and their intimate reception, this was a beautifully local celebration in the heart of the city.
The couple chose to keep their wedding simple and meaningful, inviting just 60 of their closest family members and friends. Without a traditional wedding party, the focus remained on celebrating their relationship and sharing the day with the people who matter most.
First Look and Wedding Portraits at Osgoode Hall
Christine and Jerome shared their first look at the historic Osgoode Hall, one of the most elegant and iconic spots for wedding photos in downtown Toronto. With its beautiful iron gates, manicured lawns, and classic architecture, it’s also one of the city’s best free locations for wedding portraits.
Despite the heat of the day, the couple enjoyed a relaxed portrait session in the shaded gardens before heading to their ceremony and reception just down the street.
Intimate Wedding Reception at Peter Pan Bistro
The ceremony and reception took place upstairs at the beloved Queen Street restaurant Peter Pan Bistro. Known for its cozy atmosphere and incredible cuisine, the venue was the perfect setting for Christine and Jerome’s intimate celebration.
Surrounded by family and friends, the evening unfolded with heartfelt speeches, plenty of laughter, and a delicious meal shared together.
A Stunning Sunset in Downtown Toronto
As the evening progressed, the celebration was accompanied by one of the most beautiful sunsets I’d seen in quite some time. Naturally, we slipped outside for a few quick sunset portraits to capture the warm glow of the city skyline and end the day with a few extra magical moments.
Christine and Jerome’s wedding proved that a small, thoughtfully planned celebration can be just as memorable as a grand event, especially in a vibrant setting like downtown Toronto.
