Their first look at James Gardens in Toronto was incredibly emotional. Even with their wedding party watching nearby, it felt as though they were the only two people in the world. They met on the bridge surrounded by lush greenery, creating a timeless and romantic backdrop for their wedding portraits.
James Gardens is always a favourite location for wedding photography in Toronto. With its charming stone bridges, manicured gardens, and peaceful pond — complete with a few curious ducks — it offers countless picturesque spots for natural, candid moments.
Fun, Candid Wedding Party Portraits
Emily and William’s wedding party brought so much energy to the day. They were constantly joking, laughing, and creating spontaneous moments, which made capturing candid wedding photos effortless. Their chemistry meant very little direction was needed — the authentic interactions spoke for themselves.
Heartfelt Ceremony at St. Giles Kingsway Presbyterian Church
The couple exchanged vows during a touching ceremony at St. Giles Kingsway Presbyterian Church. The atmosphere was warm and intimate, filled with meaningful moments and happy tears.
Elegant Reception at The Old Mill Toronto
Following the ceremony, we headed to The Old Mill Toronto for their reception. Before joining their guests, Emily and William changed into traditional attire — Emily wore a stunning Chinese dress, and William proudly donned a kilt. We stepped away briefly for additional portraits, capturing this beautiful nod to their heritage before the celebrations began.
Their wedding day was the perfect blend of romance, culture, laughter, and heartfelt emotion — a truly unforgettable celebration in some of Toronto’s most iconic wedding venues.
