Chrissi and Matt’s wedding is one I will never forget. With looming rain storms on the horizon the outdoor ceremony was minutes away. It was delayed, then brought inside…then delayed again by a medical emergency…then brought back outside. Once the rain started again, the ceremony was well past the point of no return. Amazingly, it actually made for a great tension-breaker…there’s not much else you can do but laugh with all your closest family and friends, soaking wet and newly married. It was the shortest, wettest ceremony I’ve every experienced!

Then the whole thing completely blew over quickly enough for us to do all the portraits under beautiful blue skies, and we were treated to a gorgeous sunset to top it all off.

It was absolutely perfect.
