Enoch Turner Schoolhouse Wedding Venue in Downtown Toronto
The Enoch Turner Schoolhouse wedding venue is one of Toronto’s most iconic heritage spaces, located in the heart of downtown Toronto on King Street East. This historic Toronto wedding venue is known for its preserved Victorian architecture, featuring red-brick walls, tall windows, and a timeless character that blends historic charm, natural beauty, modern elegance, and a touch of urban grit—perfect for couples planning a unique downtown Toronto wedding.
The wedding ceremony honoured Lara’s Jewish heritage and featured a beautifully rustic Jewish wedding chuppa, handcrafted from birch branches and lush green foliage. Set against the warm brick interior of the Enoch Turner Schoolhouse, the ceremony felt both intimate and deeply meaningful.

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails and light bites while the couple stepped out for wedding portraits around King Street East, taking advantage of the surrounding urban textures and historic streetscape. When everyone returned, the main hall of the Enoch Turner Schoolhouse had been transformed into an elegant dining space, styled with colourful seasonal florals by Flowerday Florist, perfectly complementing the venue’s heritage aesthetic.
Dinner, Speeches, and Live Music at an Enoch Turner Schoolhouse Wedding
Dinner was a delicious buffet catered by En Ville Catering, followed by heartfelt speeches and a hilarious musical performance by the parents of the bride and groom. Music played a central role throughout the celebration, and with Lowell being a talented drummer, the energy was high from the start. The live wedding band kept the dance floor packed well into the night, with Lowell and his father even joining the band on stage for a few unforgettable moments.
