Meaningful In-Home Newborn Session with Aalaya | Toronto Newborn Portraits

This quiet, cozy newborn session took place in the family’s apartment as they settled into life with their beautiful new baby girl. Mom and Dad soaked up every moment with their tiny daughter while her 3-year-old big brother watched everything with a gentle curiosity. Photographing the family at home allowed for a relaxed mix of natural portraits and candid interactions in the spaces where they spend their everyday lives. To reflect the family’s faith, we also created a few meaningful images on a prayer rug with the Holy Qur’an and misbaha (tasbih prayer beads), adding a beautiful cultural and spiritual element to the session and celebrating the traditions that will be part of their daughter’s life as she grows.
